A singer-songwriter, accordionist, and trained in theatre and dance, Noé Lira loves to explore the blending of forms and cultures. A first generation Quebec-Mexican, her creations are plural, multidisciplinary, and rooted in current events, and address themes such as violence against women and the need for social change. A firm believer in the power of rituals for collective transformation, her approach always aspires to encounter and dialogue, seeking from the outset to raise voices, untie bodies and bring minds together. Her first EP, Latiendo la tierra, (The Pulse of the Earth) was released on August 27, 2021. In June 2022, Noé Lira was named Révélation Radio-Canada 2022-2023 in the category "global music".
A colorful musical universe of Latin rhythms, organic and textured with nature sounds, the themes are eco-feminist and unfold in a trilingual (French, Spanish, English) and committed poetry, wishing to foment solidarity and empowerment. The music is combined with theater, dance and performance in a fiery and explosive encounter. Accompanied on stage by three musicians (Catherine Lemay on keys, Doriane Fabreg on percussion and Juliette Malgrange on cello), Noé offers us an immersive and collaborative show, filled with love, humor and authenticity.
