Formed in 2016, CHANCES brings together Vincent Carré (drums/percussion), Chloé Lacasse (keyboard, guitar, vocals), and Geneviève Toupin (guitar, keyboard, accordion, vocals). Their unique sound blends indie-pop, electronic and acoustic instruments, and world vocals, drawing from the trio’s Francophone, Anglophone, and Métis cultural backgrounds. The powerful harmonies of Chloé and Geneviève, paired with Vincent’s expressive rhythms, create music that is both raw and sensitive. CHANCES offers luminous music that bridges the electronic and organic, touching on the essential.

Their debut album Traveler (2018) and EP Connection (2021) were well-received, charting in the top 200 of the NACC and the top 30 on CBC Radio 3, and earned nominations at the GAMIQ. CHANCES stood out on stage with over 60 performances in Quebec, Ontario, and Europe between 2018 and 2019.

In 2022, they created Après la nuit, a multidisciplinary show blending circus and dance with their music, presented at TOHU during the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival and performed to sold-out audiences at Le Diamant in Quebec City in 2023. Their next album is expected in 2025.
